Middle Village

Despite being only 20 minutes outside of Manhattan, Middle Village is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood with an abundance of parks, shopping and attractions. Bounded to the north by Eliot Avenue, to the east by Woodhaven Boulevard to the south by Cooper Avenue, and to the west by Fresh Pond Road, this community is home to some of the 30th Districts most-frequented spots. Juniper Valley Park, the jewel of Middle Village, has long been a hotspot for park-goers of all ages.

One of the neighborhood’s most energetic spots is Metropolitan Avenue, where you can find plenty to eat, places to shop at a wide array of small chains and local mom-and-pop stores. Middle Village is also home to the Metro Mall on Metropolitan Avenue, where one can find an array of major chains.

Here in Middle Village, we enjoy a culturally rich and diverse community. The Italian-American community, in particular, has deep roots in the neighborhood, but lately we have also seen newcomers of Irish, Hispanic and Polish descent who are attracted to the family-friendly, suburban feel of the community.

There are three NYC public schools zoned to Middle Village students- P.S. 128, P.S./I.S. 49 and P.S. 87, all of which provide quality education to our children. Christ the King High School is another parochial school that serves students in Middle Village.
